The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ When the Event will come to pass 1 Then will no (soul) entertain falsehood concerning its coming. 2 It will bring low (some); (and others) it will exalt; 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 And the hills are ground to powder 5 Becoming dust scattered abroad, 6 [on that Day,] then, shall you be [divided into] three kinds. 7 Companions of the Right (O Companions of the Right!) 8 Then those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) will be those of the left hand! 9 And the Outstrippers, the Outstrippers 10 Who will be honoured 11 in the beautiful Paradise. 12 A number of the earlier peoples, 13 And a few from those of later times. 14 on lavish couches 15 Reclining face to face. 16 immortal youths shall go about them 17 With bowls and ewers and a cup from a pure spring 18 by which their minds will not be clouded and which will not make them drunk; 19 and such fruits as they shall choose, 20 And the meat of fowl, from whatever they desire. 21 and there shall be wide-eyed maidens, 22 Like unto Pearls well-guarded. 23 As recompense for all they had done. 24 Not frivolity will they hear therein, nor any taint of ill,- 25 but only the tiding of inner soundness and peace. 26 And those on the Right Hand, Who will be those on the Right Hand? 27 (will be) among thornless Lote trees. 28 Bananatrees, piled 29 In shade long-extended, 30 and flowing water 31 and abundant fruit, 32 undiminished and never denied 33 And raised couches; 34 Indeed We formed them (the houris and all believing women), 35 and made them virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 All this will be for the People on the Right; 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
