111 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hood (Hood) before The Hijjr Valley (Al-Hijjr)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the Book that makes (things) manifest. 1 Indeed We have sent down an Arabic Qur’an, so that you may perceive. 2 We will relate to thee the fairest of stories in that We have revealed to thee this Koran, though before it thou wast one of the heedless. 3 Recall what time Yusuf said unto his father: My father! Verily I have seen eleven stars and the sun and the moon; I have seen them prostrating themselves unto me. 4 He said: O my son! recount not thine vision unto thy brethren, lest they plot a plot against thee; verily the Satan is unto man an enemy manifest. 5 Your Lord will choose you and teach you to interpret events, and confer His favours on you and the house of Jacob, as He had done in the case of two ancestors of yours, Abraham and Isaac, before you. Indeed your Lord is all-knowing and all-wise." 6
