۞ Surely We had bestowed wisdom upon Abraham even earlier, and We knew him well. 51 When he said to his father and his people, "What are these statues to which you are devoted?" 52 They said, "We found our fathers worshipping them." 53 Abraham said, "Indeed, you and your fathers have been clearly misguided." 54 They said, "Have you brought us the truth or are you jesting?" 55 He said: Aye! your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth Who created them, and as to that I am of the witnesses. 56 "And by Allah, I have a plan for your idols - after ye go away and turn your backs".. 57 He shattered them all, except the biggest among them, that perhaps they may question it. 58 They said, “Who has done this to our Gods? He is indeed cruel!” 59 They said: We heard a youth called Ibrahim speak of them. 60 The others said: "Bring him, then, before the eyes of the people that they may see (what will be done to him)." 61 They said, "Art thou the one that did this with our gods, O Abraham?" 62 He answered: "Rather it was this supreme one who has done it. So ask them, if they can speak." 63 Then they thought and observed: "Surely you are yourselves unjust." 64 Then they reversed themselves, [saying], "You have already known that these do not speak!" 65 He said, "Then do you worship instead of Allah that which does not benefit you at all or harm you? 66 Fie on you and on what you serve besides Allah; what! do you not then understand? 67 They said: "Burn him, and come to the support of your gods, if you are going to do anything." 68 We said, "O Fire! be thou cool, and (a means of) safety for Abraham!" 69 And they intended for him harm, but We made them the greatest losers. 70 We saved him and Lot, and brought them to the land which We had blessed for all the worlds. 71 We granted him Isaac and Jacob as a gift and helped both of them to become righteous people. 72 And We made them leaders guiding by Our command. And We inspired to them the doing of good deeds, establishment of prayer, and giving of zakah; and they were worshippers of Us. 73 And We gave Lut the kingdom and knowledge, and We rescued him from the township that committed vile deeds; indeed those evil people were disobedient. 74 And We took him into Our mercy; surely he was of the good. 75

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
