The people of Noah [too] gave the lie to [one of God's] message-bearers 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 107 so fear Allah, and obey me. 108 “And I do not ask from you any fee for it; my reward is only upon the Lord Of The Creation.” 109 “Therefore fear Allah, and obey me.” 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe in you when no one has followed you except the lowest ones". 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 If only you would realize, their account is with my Lord. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am naught but a plain warner. 115 They said: If you desist not, O Nuh, you shall most certainly be of those stoned to death. 116 He said: 'My Lord, my nation have belied me. 117 so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me. 118 So We delivered him and those with him in the laden ark. 119 Thereafter We drowned those who remained behind. 120 Verily, in this is indeed a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 121 Your Lord is Majestic and All-merciful. 122
