۞ Then I swear by the setting of the stars, 75 and, indeed, that is a most mighty oath, if you only knew -- 76 that this is an honorable Quran 77 in a hidden Book 78 None may touch it, except with ablution. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And you at the moment are looking on, 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 88 there shall be repose and ease, and a Garden of Delight; 89 And if one happens to be of those who have attained to righteousness, 90 (he will be greeted with): 'Peace be upon you, Companion of the Right' 91 And if he is from the deniers, the astray, – 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in Hell-Fire. 94 Lo! this is certain truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
