Charity (Al-Maa'oon)
7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Have you seen him who denies the Recompense? 1 That is he who repelleth the orphan, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 and are heedless of their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 Who are uncharitable even over very small things. 7
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
