Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By (the angels) sent forth with the commands of God, 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and then giving forth a reminder, 5 [promising] freedom from blame or [offering] a warning! 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 and the sky is rent asunder, 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 So shall We make later generations to follow them. 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a weak water, 20 that We laid within a sure lodging 21 Till a limit known? 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a repository 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Walk on to the covering having three branches, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 Indeed hell throws up sparks like huge castles. 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
