The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta. Sin. Mim. 1 Those are the verses of the clear Book. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We will, We can send down on them a sign from heaven before which their necks will remain humbled. 4 Never cometh there unto them a fresh reminder from the Beneficent One, but they turn away from it. 5 Surely they have done with denying; soon will come to them the news of what they were laughing at. 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
