We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And the earth -- We spread it forth; O excellent Smoothers! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 And continue to remind, for surely the reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created the jinns and men but to worship Me. 56 No Sustenance do I require of them, nor do I require that they should feed Me. 57 Surely God is the All-provider, the Possessor of Strength, the Ever-Sure. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
