Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and then cast (Allah's) remembrance (in people's hearts), 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 The heavens split asunder, 9 And when the mountains are blown away; 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 15 Did We not destroy the former peoples? 16 and let the latter follow them? 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 until an appointed time? 22 For We do determine (according to need); for We are the best to determine (things). 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 For the living and the dead, 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 and throwing up sparks as huge as towers 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
