And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 and We delivered both of them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them both on the right way. 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 Peace be on Musa and Haroun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 "Will ye call upon Baal and forsake the Best of Creators,- 125 "Allah, your Lord and Cherisher and the Lord and Cherisher of your fathers of old?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 and then We utterly destroyed the others: 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
