The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ Praise the name of thy Lord the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who brings out the pasturage, 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore do remind, surely reminding does profit. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 But the most hapless will flout it, 11 [He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 and remembers his Sustainer's name, and prays [unto Him]. 15 But rather you prefer the life of this world! 16 even though the life hereafter will be better and will last forever. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
