Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 and lift from thee thy burden, 2 Which had left you devoid of hope, 3 And did We not exalt your fame? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 indeed, hardship is followed by ease! 6 So when you finish the prayer, strive in supplication. 7 and let your longing be for your Lord (in humility). 8
