Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Seest thou one who denies the Judgment (to come)? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 And urgeth not the feeding of the needy. 3 Woe, then, unto those praying ones 4 Who are unmindful of their prayers, 5 Those who do good deeds only to be seen (of men), 6 And withhold things of common use (from others). 7

True are the words of God the Almighty.
