Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
AND, [likewise,] indeed, the people of Al-Hijr gave the lie to [Our] message-bearers: 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 They used to hew dwellings in the mountains to live in security. 82 Then the Blast caught them in the morning 83 Therefore their earnings did not in the least benefit them. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And assuredly We have vouchsafed unto thee seven of the repetitions and the mighty Qur'an. 87 Do not extend your eyes toward that by which We have given enjoyment to [certain] categories of the disbelievers, and do not grieve over them. And lower your wing to the believers 88 And proclaim, “Indeed I, yes I, am the clear Herald of Warning.” 89 Even as We sent down on the dividers 90 and also divided the Quran believing in some parts and rejecting others. 91 Therefore, by the Lord, We will, of a surety, call them to account, 92 concerning that they were doing. 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 verily, We shall suffice thee against all who [now] deride [this message - all] 95 Who set up along with Allah another ilah (god), they will come to know. 96 And We already know that your breast is constrained by what they say. 97 Therefore proclaim the Purity of your Lord with praise, and be of those who prostrate. 98 And go on worshipping your Lord till the certainty (of death) comes upon you. 99
True are the words of God the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
