Hast thou considered him who turns his back 33 And he gave a little, then refrained? 34 Does he have any knowledge of the world beyond the ken of sense-perception, and therefore, clearly sees (the Truth)? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And (of) Ibrahim who fulfilled (the commandments): 37 Namely, that no bearer of burdens can bear the burden of another; 38 And that man will not obtain anything except what he strove for? 39 and that his labouring shall surely be seen, 40 Then he will be recompensed with a full and the best recompense. 41 And that thy Lord, He is the goal; 42 And that it is He who makes [one] laugh and weep 43 And that He it is Who causes death and gives life- 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From a seed when lodged (in its place); 46 And that He hath ordained the second bringing forth; 47 It is He who grants people temporary and durable wealth. 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) A'ad, 50 And the Thamud nor gave them a lease of perpetual life. 51 And also the people of Nuh aforetime. Verily they were even greater wrong-doers and more contumacious. 52 And that it is He Who threw down the upturned townships? 53 so that there covered it that which covered. 54 So, which of your Lord's bounties will you doubt?” 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The imminent Hour has drawn near, 57 none except Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then wonder at this announcement? 59 And laugh and not weep, 60 And ye are behaving proudly. 61 So prostrate yourselves before God and worship him. ۩ 62
