Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts – they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ [O Muhammad], inform My servants that it is I who am the Forgiving, the Merciful. 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 And tell them of Abraham's guests, 51 who came to him saying, "Peace be with you." Abraham said, "We are afraid of you". 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 "We have given you the happy tidings of a truth," they replied. "So do not be one of those who despair." 55 He said: And who despaireth of the mercy of his Lord save those who are astray? 56 [Ibrahim (Abraham) again] said: "What then is the business on which you have come, O Messengers?" 57 They said: "We have been sent to a people (deep) in sin, 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 excepting only his wife, [of whom God says,] 'We have ordained [that,] behold, she should be among those who stay behind!' 60
