Then whosoever does righteous works, while believing, his striving will not go unappreciated. We record them all for him. 94 (It is ordained that) no village We have destroyed shall return 95 Until the Gog and Magog (people) are let through (their barrier), and they swiftly swarm from every hill. 96 And the True Promise draweth nigh; then behold them, staring wide (in terror), the eyes of those who disbelieve! (They say): Alas for us! We (lived) in forgetfulness of this. Ah, but we were wrong-doers! 97 “Indeed you* and all that you worship** besides Allah, are the fuel of hell; in it you must go.” (* All disbelievers ** Idols and disbelievers who claimed to be Gods. The Prophets like Eisa and Uzair who were worshipped are exempt from this, and so are Maryam, and trees and the moon etc.) 98 if those had really been deities, they would not have been led there; but there they will remain forever. 99 There, sobbing will be their lot, nor will they there hear (aught else). 100 But as for those unto whom already the reward most fair has gone forth from Us, 101 And they will not hear its faintest sound; and they will forever abide in whatever their hearts desire. 102 The greatest terror (on the Day of Resurrection) will not grieve them, and the angels will meet them, (with the greeting): "This is your Day which you were promised." 103 The Day when We shall roll up the heavens as a recorder rolleth up a written scroll. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise (binding) upon Us. Lo! We are to perform it. 104 Surely We wrote in the Psalms, after the exhortation, that the earth shall be inherited by My righteous servants. 105 Most surely in this is a message to a people who serve 106 And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds. 107 Proclaim, “It is divinely revealed to me that your God is the only One God – Allah; do you therefore become Muslims?” 108 But if they turn away, then say, "I have announced to [all of] you equally. And I know not whether near or far is that which you are promised. 109 God surely knows what you say openly and also knows what you conceal. 110 I think that this [reprieve] is possibly a trial for you, an opportunity to enjoy yourselves until an appointed time." 111 [The Prophet] has said, "My Lord, judge [between us] in truth. And our Lord is the Most Merciful, the one whose help is sought against that which you describe." 112
