Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya, Seen. 1 By the Qur'an, full of Wisdom,- 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 That you may warn a people whose ancestors had never been warned, who are therefore heedless. 6 Indeed the Word (of punishment) has proved true against most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 And We have made before them a barrier and a barrier behind them, then We have covered them over so that they do not see. 9 Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not, it is alike for them, for they believe not. 10 You should only warn those who follow the Quran and have fear of the Beneficent God without seeing Him. Give them the glad news of their receiving forgiveness and an honorable reward (from God). 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
