And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 And We gave them the explicit Scripture, 117 And showed them the straight path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace upon Moses and Aaron." 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 Do you call on Baal and abandon the Best of Creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 They denied him, and will surely be brought to punishment, 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 "Peace be upon Elijah and his followers!" 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed Lut is one of the Noble Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
