Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 “You are neglectful of it!” 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 “I receive only the divine revelations, that I am purely a clear Herald of Warning.” 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis! What prevents thee from prostrating thyself to one whom I have created with my hands? Art thou haughty? Or art thou one of the high (and mighty) ones?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 (Iblis) said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are raised." 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 He said: "By Your authority, I will lead them astray, 82 excepting those Thy servants among them that are sincere.' 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 "It (this Quran) is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinns). 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
