Blessed is He who has placed in the sky great stars and placed therein a [burning] lamp and luminous moon. 61 And He it is who causes the night and the day to succeed one another, [revealing Himself in His works] unto him who has the will to take thought - that is has the will to be grateful. 62 The servants of the All-merciful are those who walk in the earth modestly and who, when the ignorant address them, say, 'Peace'; 63 And they who pass the night prostrating themselves before their Lord and standing. 64 And these who say: our Lord! avert from us the torment of Hell; verily the torment thereof is perishment. 65 It is indeed an evil halt and an evil abode;" 66 and who, whenever they spend on others, are neither wasteful nor niggardly but [remember that] there is always a just mean between those [two extremes]; 67 those who never invoke any other deity besides God, nor take a life which God has made sacred, except with the right to do so, nor commit adultery. Anyone who does that shall face punishment: 68 The torment will be doubled to him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein in disgrace; 69 Except him who repents and believes and does a good deed; so these are they of whom Allah changes the evil deeds to good ones; and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. 70 and whosoever repents, and does righteousness, he truly turns to God in repentance. 71 And those who witness not falsehood, and when they pass by some vanity pass by with dignity. 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." 74 Those will be awarded the Chamber for what they patiently endured, and they will be received therein with greetings and [words of] peace. 75 And abide there for ever: What an excellent destination and abode! 76 Say (to the Rejecters): "My Lord is not uneasy because of you if ye call not on Him: But ye have indeed rejected (Him), and soon will come the inevitable (punishment)!" 77
