Hizb 46

And Jonah too was one of the Messengers. 139 Call to mind when he fled to the laden ship, 140 So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. 141 And a fish swallowed him, and he was reproaching himself. 142 and had he not been among those who exalt (Allah), 143 He would have tarried in its belly till the day when they are raised; 144 ۞ But We threw him on a wide bare tract of land while he was ill; 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 We sent him to a hundred thousand men or more, 147 So they accepted faith We therefore gave them usage for a while. 148 Now ask them their opinion: Is it that thy Lord has (only) daughters, and they have sons?- 149 Or did We create the angels females, while they were witnesses? 150 No indeed! It is one of their fabrications when they say: 151 " Allah has begotten," and indeed, they are liars. 152 (And again of their falsehood): He hath preferred daughters to sons. 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 Will you not then mind? 155 Or have you a clear authority? 156 Then produce your scripture, if you should be truthful. 157 They have set up a kinship between Him and the jinn; and the jinn know that they shall be arraigned. 158 Glory to Allah! (He is free) from the things they ascribe (to Him)! 159 Except the chosen servants of Allah [who do not share in that sin]. 160 So, verily you (pagans) and those whom you worship (idols). 161 You cannot make anyone rebel against Him. 162 except him who shall roast in Hell. 163 [The angels say], "Every single one of us has his place assigned: 164 "And we are truly those who stand in rows, 165 and we are of those who glorify Allah.” 166 What though they would say, 167 Had we but an admonition as had the ancients. 168 we would surely have been Allah's chosen servants.” 169 Yet they disbelieve therein. Presently they shall come to know. 170 Our word had already been given before to Our votaries, the apostles, -- 171 that they shall receive Our help 172 And that certainly Our armies will be victorious. 173 Therefore turn away from them till a time, 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 Would they hasten on Our doom? 176 When that chastisement will descend upon their courtyard, evil shall that Day be for those who had been warned. 177 So turn (away) from them for a while, 178 And watch and they shall see (the torment)! 179 Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Honor, above what they describe. 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 It is only God, the Lord of the Universe, who deserves all praise. 182
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
