(Muhammad), say, "I worship only my Lord and do not consider anyone equal to Him". 20 Say: "Verily, it is not in my power to cause you harm or to endow you with consciousness of what is right." 21 Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge: 22 But [I have for you] only notification from Allah, and His messages." And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger - then indeed, for him is the fire of Hell; they will abide therein forever. 23 [Let them, then, wait] until the time when they behold that [doom] of which they were forewarned: for then they will come to understand which [kind of man] is more helpless and counts for less! 24 Say thou: I know not whether that which ye are promised is nigh, or whether my Lord hath appointed for it a distant term. 25 The Knower of the unseen! so He does not reveal His secrets to any, 26 "Except a messenger whom He has chosen: and then He makes a band of watchers march before him and behind him, 27 "That He may know that they have (truly) brought and delivered the Messages of their Lord: and He surrounds (all the mysteries) that are with them, and takes account of every single thing." 28
