For he neither trusted, nor prayed. 31 But only disavowed and turned away; 32 And then he went to his people, swaggering [in pride]. 33 Nearer unto thee and nearer, 34 Again, woe to you, [O man!], yes, woe to you! 35 Does man, then, think that he is to be left to himself, to go about at will? 36 Had he not been a sperm from semen emitted? 37 and thereafter became a germ-cell - whereupon He created and formed [it] in accordance with what [it] was meant to be, 38 From the human being, God made males and females in pairs. 39 So will He, Who has done all this, not be able to revive the dead? 40
