The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the rangers ranging 1 And so are strong in repelling (evil), 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 surely your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – and the Lord of the sun’s rising points. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 a protection against every rebel satan; 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 Being driven off, and for them is a perpetual chastisement, 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 Then ask them (i.e. these polytheists, O Muhammad SAW): "Are they stronger as creation, or those (others like the heavens and the earth and the mountains, etc.) whom We have created?" Verily, We created them of a sticky clay. 11 Nay, thou marvellest; and they scoff 12 and, when reminded, do not remember 13 and, when they see a sign, would scoff; 14 And they say: this Qur'an is naught but magic manifest. 15 They say, "Shall we be brought to life again after we die and turn into dust and bones? 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say: 'Yes, and in all lowliness.' 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital. 20 [And they will be told:] "This is the Day of Distinction [between the true and the false - the Day] which you were wont to call a lie!" 21
