The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Proclaim the Purity of your Lord, the Supreme. 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 And who destined and [then] guided 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee read (O Muhammad) so that thou shalt not forget 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 but the reprobates will turn away 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Surely he will succeed who grows in goodness, 14 And remembers (glorifies) the Name of his Lord (worships none but Allah), and prays (five compulsory prayers and Nawafil additional prayers). 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 The Scriptures of Ibrahim (Abraham) and Musa (Moses). 19
