Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 storming tempestuously 2 and the rain-spreading winds, 3 Then by those that clearly differentiate the right and wrong. 4 and by those who reveal revelations (to the prophets) 5 excusing or warning, 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 When the stars lose their light, 8 Heavens will rent asunder. 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 for an appointed term? 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle 25 for the living and the dead, 26 And made therein lofty mountains, and given you to drink of sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Depart into the shadow of three masses, 30 Neither shady nor protecting against the blazing Fire. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 As though they were camels yellow tawny. 33 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 34 They will not be able to speak that day, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
There are memorization exercises for the original Arabic and English transliterated Arabic modes only. The English translation mode has no memorization exercises.
