Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I swear by the early hours of the day, 1 And the night when dark and still, 2 Your Lord has neither left you, nor despises you. 3 And surely what comes after is better for you than that which has gone before. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give [you] refuge? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find you poor and suffice you? 8 So do not oppress the orphan, 9 nor drive away the one who asks. 10 but proclaim the blessings of your Lord. 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
