Is it not clear to those who inherit the earth after its (former) residents that if We please We would afflict them on account of their faults and set a seal on their hearts so they would not hear. 100 Such were the townships. We relate some tidings of them unto thee (Muhammad). Their messengers verily came unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but they could not believe because they had before denied. Thus doth Allah print upon the hearts of disbelievers (that they hear not). 101 and in most of them We found no [inner] bond with anything that is right - and most of them We found to be iniquitous indeed. 102 Then after them We sent Musa (Moses) with Our Signs to Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and his chiefs, but they wrongfully rejected them. So see how was the end of the Mufsidun (mischief-makers, corrupts, etc.). 103 Moses told the Pharaoh, "I am a Messengers from the Lord of the Universe. 104 (I am) worthy of not saying anything about Allah except the truth: I have come to you indeed with clear proof from your Lord, therefore send with me the children of Israel 105 (Pharaoh) said: If thou comest with a token, then produce it, if thou art of those who speak the truth. 106 Then [Musa (Moses)] threw his stick and behold! it was a serpent, manifest! 107 And he drew forth his hand (from his bosom), and lo! it was white for the beholders. 108
