The people of Noah denied the messengers 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 Behold, I am an apostle [sent by Him] to you, [and therefore] worthy of your trust: 107 So fear Allah and obey me. 108 I seek of you no reward for this: my reward is with none except the Lord of the Universe. 109 so fear God and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Shall we believe in thee when it is the meanest that follow thee?" 111 He said: "And what do I know as to what they do? 112 “Indeed their account is only upon my Lord, if you perceive.” 113 “And I will not repel the Muslims.” 114 I am only a plain warner. 115 They said: "O Noah! If you do not desist, you will certainly become one of the accursed." 116 [Whereupon] he prayed: "O my Sustainer! Behold, my people have given me the lie: 117 So adjudge between me and them conclusively, and save me and the believers who are with me." 118 So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 In this there is evidence (of the truth) but most of them do not have any faith. 121 And indeed your Lord, only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 122
