And indeed Nooh prayed to Us so what an excellent Acceptor of Prayer We are! 75 And We delivered him and his people from the great affliction. 76 And We preserved his descendants. 77 And We left for him among the posterity. 78 Peace be unto Noah among the peoples! 79 Thus indeed do we reward those who do right. 80 Surely he was among Our faithful creatures. 81 We then drowned the others. 82 ۞ AND, BEHOLD, of his persuasion was Abraham, too, 83 When he came to his Lord with a heart compliant, 84 When he said to his father and his people: "What is this you worship? 85 Is it false deities that you want to serve rather than Allah? 86 What then is your opinion of the Lord of the Worlds? 87 He looked up at the stars. 88 Then said: Lo! I feel sick! 89 So they turned away from him, and departed (for fear of the disease). 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is the matter with you, why do you not speak?” 92 then he turned on them, striking them down with his right hand. 93 Then they advanced toward him, hastening. 94 He said: 'Do you worship what you, yourselves have carved 95 Whereas Allah hath created you and that which ye make? 96 They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" 97 And they desired a war against him, but We brought them low. 98 And he said: Surely I fly to my lord; He will guide me. 99 My Lord, grant me [a child] from among the righteous." 100 So We gave him tidings of a gentle son. 101 And when he reached the age of traveling with him, he said: 'My son, while I was sleeping I saw that I shall slaughter (sacrifice) you, tell me what is your opinion' He replied: 'Father, do as you are ordered (by Allah). Allah willing, you shall find me one of those who are steadfast' 102 Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of Allah), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his forehead for slaughtering); 103 We called out to him "O Abraham! 104 You have fulfilled the vision." Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good. 105 Verily that! that was a trial manifest. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We kept his praise among the latter generations. 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 Thus do We reward the doers of good. 110 He is truly among Our faithful creatures. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 And We blessed him, and Isaac; and of their seed some are good-doers, and some manifest self-wrongers. 113

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
