And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the divine writ that made [right and wrong] distinct, 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said unto his folk: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except the sincere servants of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 Verily, ye pass by their (sites), by day- 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
