SAY [O Muhammad]: "I am only a warner; and there is no deity whatever save God, the One, who holds absolute sway over all that exists, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 Recall what time thy Lord said unto the angels: verily I am about to create a human being from clay; 71 So when I have made him complete and breathed into him of My spirit, then fall down making obeisance to him. 72 Then the angels, all of them, prostrated themselves before Adam 73 Except Iblis. He was filled with pride and turned an unbeliever. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 Till the appointed day." 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 "Except Your chosen slaves amongst them (faithful, obedient, true believers of Islamic Monotheism)." 83 (Allah) said: "The Truth is, and the Truth I say, 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 You will know the truth of the matter after a while.” 88
