Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The emulous desire of abundance engrosseth you, 1 until you come to the graves. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Nay, would that ye knew (now) with a sure knowledge! 5 You should most certainly have seen the hell; 6 again, you shall most certainly end up seeing it with absolute certainty. 7 Then, on that day, you will surely be questioned regarding the favours. 8

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
