The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 Recall when their brother Noah said to them: "Do you have no fear? 106 “I am indeed a trustworthy Noble Messenger of Allah to you.” 107 so serve you God, and obey you me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 So keep your duty to Allah, and obey me. 110 ۞ They replied, "Are we to believe in you when your followers are but the lowest of the low?" 111 (Noah) said, "I have no knowledge of their deeds. 112 Their account falls only upon my Lord, were you but aware. 113 I will not drive away the believers. 114 I am only a clear warner' 115 They said: "If thou desist not, O Noah! thou shalt be stoned (to death)." 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 “Therefore make a decisive judgement between me and them, and rescue me and the believers along with me.” 118 We saved him and those who were with him in a fully laden Ark, 119 Then afterward We drowned the others. 120 Verily there is a sign in this, yet many of them do not believe. 121 But, verily, thy Sustainer - He alone - is almighty, a dispenser of grace 122
