The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
I CALL TO witness those who stand arrayed in rows, 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 and those who recite the Remembrance 3 Verily your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, and Lord of the easts. 5 Lo! We have adorned the lowest heaven with an ornament, the planets; 6 And to protect it from every rebellious devil. 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 They are rejected and theirs is an everlasting punishment; 9 Except one who sometimes steals a part, so a blazing flame goes after him. 10 Ask them thou: are they stronger in structure or those others whom We have created? Verily We! We have created them of a sticky clay. 11 Rather you are surprised, whereas they keep mocking. 12 And when they are reminded, they mind not, 13 And seek to scoff when they behold a portent. 14 And say, "This is nothing but evident sorcery! 15 When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected? 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "Yes, and you shall then be humiliated." 18 It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing. 19 And they will say: Ah! woe be unto us! this is the Day of Requital. 20 (A voice will say,) "This is the Day of Sorting Out, whose truth ye (once) denied!" 21
