And, indeed We gave Our Grace to Musa (Moses) and Harun (Aaron). 114 We saved them and their people from great distress; 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 This is how We reward those who do good: 121 Lo! they are two of Our believing slaves. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 We left him thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among the following generations -- 129 "Peace be on Elijah and his people!" 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 He is truly among Our faithful devotees. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Except an old woman who was among those who lagged behind: 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 and you pass by them in the morning 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
