Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 The One Who produced pasture. 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 We will make you recite so you shall not forget, 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We will make your way smooth to a state of ease. 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 The admonition will be received by those who fear (Allah): 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of God the Almighty.
