1/4 Hizb 24
< random >
And We sent Moses with Our signs, and a manifest authority, 96 to Pharaoh and his nobles. But they obeyed the command of Pharaoh even though Pharaoh's command was not rightly-directed. 97 He will go ahead of his people on the Day of Resurrection, and will lead them into the Fire, and evil indeed is the place to which they are led. 98 They were pursued by a curse in this (deceiving life of this world) and (so they will be pursued by a curse) on the Day of Resurrection. How bad is the curse (in this world) pursued by another curse (in the Hereafter). 99 That is an account of some towns which We recount to you. Of them some are still standing and some have been mown down. 100 It was not We that wronged them: They wronged their own souls: the deities, other than Allah, whom they invoked, profited them no whit when there issued the decree of thy Lord: Nor did they add aught (to their lot) but perdition! 101 Such is the punishment of your Lord when He seizes the towns in the midst of their sins: His punishing grip is terrible and severe. 102 Indeed in that (there) is a sure lesson for those who fear the torment of the Hereafter. That is a Day whereon mankind will be gathered together, and that is a Day when all (the dwellers of the heavens and the earth) will be present. 103 Nor shall We delay it but for a term appointed. 104 and when that Day arrives, no soul shall speak but by His leave. Among those some shall be damned, and others shall be blessed. 105 As for those who were [destined to be] wretched, they will be in the Fire. For them therein is [violent] exhaling and inhaling. 106 and there they shall live for ever, as long as the heavens and the earth endure, and as your Lord wills. Indeed, your Lord accomplishes whatsoever He will. 107 ۞ Those who are blessed shall abide in the Garden; they will dwell therein as long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord wills. Such bounty shall be unending. 108 So be not thou in dubitation concerning that which these people worship. They worship not save as their fathers worshipped afore; and verily We will repay unto them in full their portion, undiminished. 109

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
