Hast thou not regarded those who dispute concerning the signs of God, how they are turned about? 69 Those who cry lies to the Book and that wherewith We sent Our Messengers -- soon they will know! 70 When around their necks will be shackles and chains; they will be dragged. – 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 Then shall it be said to them: Where is that which you used to set up 73 Beside Allah? They will say: they have failed us; aye! we have not been calling upon aught afore. Thus doth Allah lead the infidels astray. 74 (They will be told): “This is because while you were on earth you took delight in untruth and exulted in it. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to stay therein forever. The abode of the arrogant is evil. 76 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true. Whether We show thee a part of that We promise them, or We call thee unto Us, to Us they shall be returned. 77 And indeed, [O Muhammad,] We sent forth apostles before thy time; some of them We have mentioned to thee, and some of them We have not mentioned to thee. And it was not given to any apostle to bring forth a miracle other than by God's leave. Yet when God's will becomes manifest, judgment will [already] have been passed in all justice, and lost will be, then and there, all who tried to reduce to nothing [whatever they could not understand]. 78
