The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 And Who hath disposed and then guided, 3 and who brings forth herbage, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 By degrees shall We teach thee to declare (the Message), so thou shalt not forget, 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears will mind, 10 but it will be ignored by the most unfortunate, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die nor live. 13 But those will prosper who purify themselves, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Verily, [all] this has indeed been [said] in the earlier revelations 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
