۞ We said to Moses: "Travel by night with My creatures. You will surely be pursued." 52 The Pharaoh sent word to all the cities saying, 53 (Who said): Lo! these indeed are but a little troop, 54 And indeed, they are enraging us, 55 seeing that we are, verily, a nation united, fully prepared against danger 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 their treasures and their noble dwellings -- 58 Thus [We turned them (Pharaoh's people) out] and We caused the Children of Israel to inherit them. 59 But they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts saw each other, the companions of Musa (Moses) said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 He replied: Nay indeed! My Sustainer is with me, [and] He will guide me!" 62 Then We told Moses by inspiration: "Strike the sea with thy rod." So it divided, and each separate part became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And We advanced thereto the pursuers. 64 And We saved Moses and those with him, every one; 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 And lo, thy Lord! He is indeed the Mighty, the Merciful. 68
