So what is the matter with these disbelievers, that they stare at you (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him)? 36 On the right and on the left, in companies? 37 What, is every man of them eager to be admitted to a Garden of Bliss? 38 Certainly not! They know quite well out of what We created them. 39 So I swear by the Lord of all [the three hundred and sixty (360)] points of sunrise and sunset in the east and the west that surely We are Able 40 To replace them by (others) better than them. And we are not to be outrun. 41 So let them chat and play until they meet their Day which they are promised, 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 humbled their eyes, overspreading them abasement. That is the day which they were promised. 44
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
تشير بداية ونهاية كل سورة الى السور المنزلة قبلها و بعدها. يمكنك الضغط على أي منها للذهاب إليها.
The beginning and end of every Surah mention the Surahs sent down before and after. You can click or tap on either one to go there.
