The people of Noah rejected the messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. 107 "So fear Allah, and obey me. 108 I ask of you no wage for this; my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being; 109 "So keep your duty to Allah, fear Him and obey me." 110 ۞ They said: "Should we place our trust in you when only the condemned follow you?" 111 He said, “What do I know what their deeds are?” 112 Their account falls only upon My Lord, if you were but aware. 113 It is not for me to repel those who choose to believe. 114 I am nothing but a plain warner." 115 Said they: "Indeed, if thou desist not, O Noah, thou wilt surely be stoned to death!" 116 He prayed: "O Lord, verily my people accuse me of lies. 117 hence, lay Thou wide open the truth between me and them, and save me and those of the believers who are with me!" 118 So We saved him, and those who were with him in the laden ark, 119 afterwards, We drowned the rest. 120 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 121 surely your Lord is the Mighty One, the Merciful. 122
