Hizb 46

Jonah, too, was one of the Messengers. 139 When he ran away (like a slave from captivity) to the ship (fully) laden, 140 Then lots were drawn and he became of those who were pushed into the sea. 141 So the fish swallowed him while he did that for which he blamed himself 142 And had he not been of those who hallow Him, 143 He would have indeed remained inside its belly (the fish) till the Day of Resurrection. 144 ۞ But We cast him forth on the naked shore while he was sick, 145 And We caused to grow over him a gourd vine. 146 And We sent him to a hundred thousand (folk) or more 147 and they believed. So We let them enjoy life for a while. 148 Then ask them whether your Lord has daughters and they have sons. 149 Or created We the angels females while they were witnesses? 150 Then is it of their lying that they say: 151 "God has begotten [a son]"; and verily, they are lying [too, when they say,] 152 Has He chosen daughters in preference to sons? 153 “What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose!” 154 What, will you not remember? 155 Or is there for you a plain authority? 156 Bring your book if what you say is true. 157 They claim that He has kinship with the jinn, yet the jinn themselves know that they will be produced before Him [for judgement]. 158 limitless is God in His glory, above anything that men may devise by way of definition! 159 all of them except the chosen servants of Allah. 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 Can tempt anyone to rebel against Him. 162 except for he who shall roast in Hell. 163 [The angels say], "There is not among us any except that he has a known position. 164 and, verily, we too are ranged [before Him in worship]; 165 And indeed, we are those who exalt Allah." 166 What, would they then say: 167 Had we a reminder from those of yore, 168 We would be single-minded slaves of Allah. 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 Already Our Word has preceded to Our servants, the Envoys; 171 will certainly be victorious 172 and that it is Our host that would certainly triumph. 173 So turn away (O Muhammad SAW) from them for a while, 174 and see them [for what they are]; and in time they [too] will come to see [what they do not see now]. 175 Do they want to suffer Our torment immediately? 176 When it descends upon their courtyards, evil will be the morning of those forewarned. 177 Hence, turn thou aside for a while from them, 178 and see; and they too shall soon see. 179 Exalted is your Lord, the Lord of might, above what they describe. 180 Peace be upon the Messengers 181 and praise be to God, the Lord of all the Worlds. 182
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
