The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 and there can be no denying its happening, 2 It will bring down [some] and raise up [others]. 3 When the earth shall be shaken with a (severe) shaking, 4 and the mountains will crumble 5 and become a dust, scattered, 6 And you shall be three sorts. 7 Then (as to) the companions of the right hand; how happy are the companions of the right hand! 8 And those on the left – how (wretched) are those on the left! 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 Those are they who will be brought nigh 11 In gardens of delight; 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 And a few from the later generations. 14 on lavish couches 15 reclining upon them, facing one another [in love]. 16 There shall go round unto them youths ever-young. 17 with goblets, and ewers, and cups filled with water from unsullied springs 18 (no brows throbbing, no intoxication) 19 with fruits of their own choice 20 and the meat of any bird that they may desire; 21 And gorgeous eyed fair maidens. 22 like the pearls in their shells: 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 No Laghw (dirty, false, evil vain talk) will they hear therein, nor any sinful speech (like backbiting, etc.). 25 (Naught) but the saying: Peace, (and again) Peace. 26 As for those of the right hand -- how (happy) those of the right hand -- 27 Among thornless lote-trees 28 and banana trees, 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and abundant fruit, 32 Whose season is not limited, and their supply will not be cut off, 33 and upraised couches. 34 Indeed We formed them (the houris and all believing women), 35 And made them virgins, 36 Loving, of equal age. 37 For those on the right. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
