And indeed, [similar was the case when] We vouchsafed the divine writ unto Moses, and some of his people set their own views against it; and had it not been for a decree that had already gone forth from thy Sustainer, judgment would indeed have been passed on them [then and there]: for, behold, they were in grave doubt, amounting to suspicion, about him [who called them unto God]. 110 And your Lord will most surely pay back to all their deeds in full; surely He is aware of what they do. 111 Therefore stand firm (in the straight Path) as thou art commanded,- thou and those who with thee turn (unto Allah); and transgress not (from the Path): for He seeth well all that ye do. 112 And do not incline to those who are unjust, lest the fire touch you, and you have no guardians besides Allah, then you shall not be helped. 113 And perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat), at the two ends of the day and in some hours of the night [i.e. the five compulsory Salat (prayers)]. Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds (i.e. small sins). That is a reminder (an advice) for the mindful (those who accept advice). 114 Therefore have patience; Allah will not let the wage of the gooddoers go to waste. 115 Why were there not of the generations before you owners of wisdom restraining others from corruption on the earth, except a few of those whom We delivered from amongst them! And those who did wrong followed that in which they luxuriated, and they had been sinners. 116 In truth thy Lord destroyed not the townships tyrannously while their folk were doing right. 117 And if your Lord had willed, He could have made mankind one community; but they will not cease to differ. 118 Except those upon whom your Lord had mercy; and this is why He created them; and the Word of your Lord has been concluded that, “Indeed I will, surely, fill hell with jinns and men combined.” 119 AND [remember:] out of all the accounts relating to the [earlier] apostles We convey unto thee [only] that wherewith We [aim to] make firm thy heart: for through these [accounts] comes the truth unto thee, as well as an admonition and a reminder unto all believers. 120 Say to those who do not believe: "Do what ever ye can: We shall do our part; 121 and wait, we too are waiting." 122 And Allah's is the unseen in the heavens and the earth, and to Him is returned the whole of the affair; therefore serve Him and rely on Him, and your Lord is not heedless of what you do. 123
