Whoso blinds himself to the Remembrance of the All-merciful, to him We assign a Satan for comrade; 36 Such (evil ones) really hinder them from the Path, but they think that they are being guided aright! 37 When such a person comes to Us, he will say [to his comrade], "If only you had been as far away from me as east is from west. What an evil comrade!" 38 (It will be said to them) “And you will not benefit from them this day, whereas you are unjust – for you are all partners in the punishment.” 39 Can you (O Muhammad SAW) make the deaf to hear, or can you guide the blind or him who is in manifest error? 40 But if We should take you away, still We shall inflict retribution on them; 41 Or (if) We show you that wherewith We threaten them, then verily, We have perfect command over them. 42 So hold fast to all that has been revealed to thee: for, behold, thou art on a straight way; 43 And verily, this (the Quran) is indeed a Reminder for you (O Muhammad SAW) and your people (Quraish people, or your followers), and you will be questioned (about it). 44 And ask thou Our apostles whom We sent before thee: appointed We gods, beside the Compassionate, to be worshipped? 45
