Remember when God covenanted the prophets (and said): "If after I have given you the Law and the judgement there comes an apostle to you who confirms the truth already with you, you will surely believe him and help him;" and asked: "Do you accept and agree to the terms of My covenant?" They said: "We accept." "Then you be witness," said God, "and I shall be witness with you. 81 If any turn back after this, they are perverted transgressors. 82 So do they desire a religion other than the religion of Allah, whereas to Him has submitted whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly or grudgingly, and it is to Him they will return? 83 Say, “We believe in Allah and what is sent down to us and what was sent down to Ibrahim, and Ismael, and Ishaq, and Yaqub (Jacob) and their sons, and that which came to Moosa and Eisa and the Prophets, from their Lord; we do not make any distinction, in belief, between any of them, and to Him we have submitted ourselves.” 84 And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers. 85 How shall Allah guide a people who disbelieved after their belief and after they bore witness that the Messenger (Muhammad SAW) is true and after clear proofs had come unto them? And Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers). 86 They are those whose recompense is that on them (rests) the Curse of Allah, of the angels, and of all mankind. 87 with which they will live forever. Their torment will not be relieved and no attention will be paid to them. 88 Except for those that repent (Even) after that, and make amends; for verily Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. 89 Those who disbelieve, after having been believers and increase their disbelief, are lost and their repentance will not be accepted. 90 Indeed, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers - never would the [whole] capacity of the earth in gold be accepted from one of them if he would [seek to] ransom himself with it. For those there will be a painful punishment, and they will have no helpers. 91
